Made from native sustainable hardwood each plate will have a unique grain, with a natural finish. A beautiful dark walnut colour with amazing grain.

Hand turned from hardwood with a smooth finish, these wooden spinning plates are finished with a clear lacquer to show of the beautiful character of the wood. Mader Kreiselmanufaktur spinning tops, yo-yos and skipping ropes are beautifully crafted by hand with the greatest attention to detail. The spinning tops are rated by order of difficulty to spin - from 1 to 6, with 6 being the most challenging. Handcrafted in their workshop in Austria, each spinning tops undergoes up to 20 different processes, from turning, burning, carving and painting- all by hand. Each top is carved from a single piece of sustainably sourced native wood, and are recognisable from the ring burned around their equator, and the beautiful rainbow stripes. Loved by children and grown ups of all ages, you just can’t help but pick them up and give them a spin - be prepared to be mesmerised as they spin for minutes at a time.
